A Senior Broadband Industry Executive with a strong track record leading companies on their Global Market Growth and Expansion Plans.

Tom has over twenty six years Broadband experience, spanning: Information Technology, Software, Broadband Service strategies, Voice, Video and Data Engineering, Sales, Marketing and Business Development. In the early part of his career he worked at a Senior Level with a leading European Cable Operator, where he was responsible for Communications and Multi-Media strategies. He pioneered some of the first Broadband service initiatives in the world over Cable TV and GSM networks. He is regularly interviewed on CNBC TV, Wall Street and by Leading Industry Analysts. He has guided a number of companies to global leadership positions in the ICT sector. He is the Founder and Chief Executive of BroadCap Corporation.

John founded Digisoft.tv in 2000. Prior to this, John managed outsourced digital media software projects to the European Television industry, particularly in Germany, UK and Italy.

During the early company phase, John and a large team of Digisoft.tv employees were involved in R+D activities, developing software for more than 10 European broadcasters. His technical background coupled with his expertise in systems and iTV process flow, keep him very much a part of the Digisoft visionary team.

A regular speaker on the iTV event circuit, John's expertise in iTV business modelling has allowed for his experience and industry interface to become a invaluable asset for Digisoft and customers alike.

John holds a B.Sc. (Hons) in Computer Science from University College Cork in Ireland and has over 13 years experience in the development and deployment of commercial software solutions.

Alan has  over 25 experience years in Software and ICT in global market place. He spent over 10 years as a Senior Technical Consultant with leading global Consulting & Systems Integration firms, managing Multi-Million dollar, mission critical projects. He then worked for over 15 years with Telecoms, Cable and Internet service providers in various Senior Roles, such as;

• CTO for leading OSS/BSS product and solutions vendor for the Cable TV market
• Head of Professional Service for European provider of IPTV, VOD and VOIP solutions over multi access technology networks
• Delivery Manager at Digisoft delivering revenue generating IP Services, Interactive Applications and Entertainment solutions globally
 

Derek holds a B.Sc. in Computer Science and has over 15 years of involvement in the IT and telecommunications industry. Prior to joining Digisoft.tv Derek worked in researching m-Commerce and e-Commerce technologies and defining e-Commerce strategies as the technical director of an IT company in South Africa.

In addition Derek has experience of working in the IT department of a large telecommunications company where he was exposed to value added services using the latest cross-media technology. Derek’s responsibilities in the organizations for which he has worked to date include management of multiple development projects and operational infrastructure projects combined with extensive operational management of mixed server farms running mission critical services for mobile phones.

Paul studied Business Studies before going on to join Deloitte and train as an accountant. Paul went on to qualify as a Chartered Accountant in 2005. Prior to joining Digisoft.tv Paul worked as a group financial accountant for an Irish Public Limited Company incorporating separate business divisions including property and consumer foods. Having a keen interest in the IT industry Paul joined Digisoft.tv in 2008.

Bryan is a veteran of the Telco and wireless industries with many years of Pan European and global success. Having extensive experience of multiple projects, working with many operators and partners throughout EMEA, most recently with Allround middleware as VP sales. Prior to this he worked with Moremagic as VP sales responsible for establishing the company in EMEA with great results both directly into operators and with local and global partners.

Daniel Soong brings over 18 years of experience in the Cable TV, Wireless and Broadcast industry as well as a solid background in IT.

Prior to joining Digisoft Daniel was VP and General Manager Asia Pacific for Interactive Enterprise (IE), a leading provider of Broadband OSS solutions. During his six years with IE Daniel oversaw the growth of the business in the region via direct sales and by building a channel network in key markets.

Prior to IE he was Director of Engineering for the Asia-Pacific region for Motorola Broadband Communications Sector (formerly General Instrument Corp.) where he managed a pan-regional team of engineers providing pre- and post-sales support to Motorola's key customers.
