DigiMessage:
DigiMessage is an integrated messaging system that allows viewers to receive and send email, SMS, MMS, and memos in a single inbox through their TV sets while continuing to watch a program in the comfort of their home sitting room or TV room.
DigiMessage is designed to integrate with existing iTV back-office systems through the DigiHost platform, and MMSC, SMSC, and email gateways. To help speed up the process of moving to new media, DigiMessage is furnished with set-top-box application software that manages all aspects of iTV and messaging including registration, profiling, advertising, viewer interaction and scalability to deal with peak loads.
DigiTracker:
DigiTracker creates a direct link between a mobile device and IPTV, providing operators with subscription services to location-based services (LBS) for mobile phones.
The DigiTracker application passes a mobile phone number to an LBS server, which returns the longitude and latitude degrees of the centre point of the specified area. This information is passed to a mapping service, which displays a map of the area on a viewer’s TV screen, letting the viewer know the exact location of the person they are tracking. With DigiTracker, viewers can also send preset text (SMS) messages to mobile phones.
DigiWeather:
The DigiWeather application allows a viewer to see a weather forecast as well as current weather conditions in various places.
The application is launched with a general screen for the country where the viewer resides. The viewer can select a region and then a city to obtain local weather information. Viewers can view current weather conditions and a 7-day forecast. The weather information is made available from an external server through a gateway and scheduled service that is managed by the DigiHost platform.
